I am working on running Open3D on a standalone prototype and since Open3D will be the most advanced piece of software on the device I would like to optimize my SOC choice for its performance.
Currently my choice is the LattePanda Delta / Intel Celeron N4100 but the Delta is out of stock for ~2mo so I am looking into other potential options such as other Lattepandas, UP Squared… Now that I have a short list of SOCs/Dev boards that I believe will work with Open3D I would like to narrow them down to the best one for the job but do not know which hardware specifications will have the most impact.
It seems obvious to me that graphics performance will be a priority but I don’t really know what to look for past generic specs. I am primarily interested in the reconstruction system and then feature / object recognition.
