I am using the reconstruction system with the intention of 3D scanning plants. Just to be clear I am talking about plants like flowers and trees, not like manufacturing or power plants.
From my experiences using it and then reading through the documentation I have found that the reconstruction system as is seems much more acclimated towards large scenes than objects which is not really surprising but as someone new to Open 3D and reconstruction in general I wanted to get your input on how I might be able to adjust the reconstruction system for the application of scanning these very complex and intricate shapes which don’t really exceed 1m³ of space.
Will upload some reconstructions once my new cable gets here which should allow me to get better data off of the D415 camera I am using which is currently limited to USB2 / 15 FPS.
